Hobsons Bay Community First (the residents association for Hobsons Bay) has a proven record for providing strong, passionate, accessible, respectful and fair representation for the local community. Since March 2004, HBCF has worked to ensure our council:
Leads with honesty and integrity, listens to the community, and commits to inclusive, transparent decisions;

Values the character of Hobsons Bay, including its natural environment;

Provides leadership and makes decisions in the best interests of the Hobsons Bay community;

Is competent and committed to making considered strategic plans in consultation with the community to ensure council provides quality and timely services to the community;

Manages our resources responsibly;

Promotes sustainable environmental strategies;

Fosters a dynamic local economy and creates new employment and investment opportunities across the whole municipality; and

Strives for excellence in basic services such as health, education and community safety.
